With the Covir-19 Pandemic currently in full swing, the 2020 Cit-In had to be cancelled.
After consultation with the various state Presidents, the Cit-in originally planned for
the Easter Long Weekend at Cowra has now been rescheduled for late in March 2020.
This will allow time for financial and psychological recovery with a better environment
as regards weather and accommodation. It will be held during the last weekend of daylight
saving (NOT Easter) from Friday 25th March 2022 until 28th March 2022.
As Club President I urge all Cit-in participants to put their enthusiasm on hold for a
while and come to Cowra as planned, only this time it will be an earlier weekend in 2022.
I hope to see you at the upcoming bigger and better Cit-in at Cowra.
Please Note: If you have already booked accommodation at Cowra, be sure to transfer it
from an Easter booking to the new dates.
The ideal setup would be to transfer the accommodation booking and still maintain your
Cit-in Registration, rather than cancelling. There will be informational emails sent to all
attendees. The Chevrons will also contain regular updates, as will this Web Site.
Bruce Elsegood.
President - Citroën Car Club of New South Wales, Inc.

Aim: To travel to Cowra through scenic countryside Start: Western Motorway, South Wentworthville, NSW, 2145 Finish: Cowra Showground Pavilion, Cowra, NSW, 2794 Features: Depart Sydney and head west on the Western Motorway/Highway.
Turn southwest down the Jenolan Caves Road at Hartley.
The first town is Oberon, with a lively main street and local attractions.
The local restaurants would be a good place to stop for lunch.
Further west is the village of Rockley, 35km south of Bathurst, with a
pub, museum, church and school to support the local farming community.
Exiting Rockley is a 12km section of dirt road, kept in decent condition.
The next township is Newbridge, with the only island platform station to
be found outside Sydney.
The Mid Western Highway is met at Blayney, with an easy cruise into Cowra.
Try the local Maccas near the Tourist Information Centre for an end of journey coffee.
The 12km dirt section between Oberon and Rockley presents no problems and is quickly traversed. Google Maps Reference:https://goo.gl/maps/GWUDQypyPfQFnUFr5

We are planning a pre-Citin touring trip to Cowra in New South Wales - leading up to
Cit-in 2022. For those folks who would like to have a bit of fun and enjoyment before
Cit-in 2022, we are inviting you to join us on "Helen's Happy Holiday/Teddie's
Terrific Tour/Dave's Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap", to be held over 7 days and 6
nights. We are starting out from Melbourne and finishing up at Cowra.
Each day is planned to be doing some interesting things and seeing new places, as well
as cementing friendships over shared morning tea and lunch each day, pre-dinner
drinks, and dinners each evening. There is no actual cost involved to be part of the
group, but some extra excursions along the way will attract a modest amount of money.
Interstate people from all states (as well as Victoria) are most welcome to join us.
We are suggesting accommodation; you are welcome to arrange your own accommodation
elsewhere - your choice. We are mainly staying in caravan parks with cabins.
You will need to book your own accommodation - I have let places know that people
may ring to book - please mention that you are part of the Citroën car group. At the
time of writing, accommodation was available at the suggested venues. I strongly suggest that you book it ASAP.
We are hoping for/planning a dinner with a local car club near Eden, and also a BBQ
dinner in Canberra, I will need firm numbers for both of these evenings. If you are
interested in being part of the tour group, please contact the organising crew ASAP.

Carrying on the tradition of having a run after the Easter Cit-in, Joe Schembri and Jeff
Goodchild are organising a Post Cit-in 2022 CIT-IN run. This will include visits to a
number of attractions, some of which are popular and as Easter is during NSW school
holidays the key message is BOOK ACCOMMODATION EARLY.
Attached is an itinerary for the trip with suggested accommodation which is primarily
motels and cabins. All attendees are responsible for their own accommodation. Daily
drive notes will be provided to attendees.
